Another Magazine Subscription Site Launches

Yet another online magazine subscription service has launched, this one
called MagazineOutlet.com from NewSub
Services Inc.

MagazineOutlet.com said it allows customers to subscribe online to more than
25,000 magazine titles, including consumer titles at discounted prices, as
well as professional and trade magazines.

Customers can find a specific
magazine or view a selection of magazines in 23 categories and more than 70
subcategories.

NewSub Services is a $350 million company co-founded by former Time-Warner
marketing exec Michael Loeb and Priceline.com’s Jay Walker.

Competition
includes Enews.com and GrapeApe.com, among others.

Partners at launch include America Online, Inktomi, CBS Sportsline, American
Express and Ziff Davis, among others.

NewSub Services markets magazines through credit card issuers, banks and
other financial institutions, catalogue companies, airlines and Internet
partners.
