BITS Inc. delivered WorldWide Merchant Version 3.0, with new features that include a real-time online catalog editor, online order management , seven shipping options including InterShipper, custom tax tables, credit card processing through CyberCash, and consumer order and shipment tracking.
The catalog editing tool and order management system provide real-time
Internet processing. The client software that resides on the merchant’s
workstation is constantly syncing with the WorldWide Merchant server software
to automatically provide real-time, accurate information 24 hours a day, the
company said.
The Windows-based catalog creation and editing tool is user-friendly and
allows the merchant to easily maintain his products. The order management
system allows simultaneous access by the merchant’s employees to maintain the
orders in real-time, said the firm.
In addition to InterShipper shipping calculations, six new options have been
added for those merchant’s that do not require exact shipping costs. Custom
configured tax tables are a click away and online credit card processing is
available through CyberCash.
