Mar 19, 1999

Minneapolis-based Chumbo.com signed a marketing agreement with Advanced Micro
Devices and will launch and host an AMD 3DNow! Technology Aisle
in its chumbo.com software store.

The aisle will be stocked with software optimized for the AMD-K6(R)-2 and AMD-
K6-III processors featuring 3DNow! technology. The 3DNow! Technology Aisle on
Chumbo.com will also be accessible directly through the AMD Web site. Financial arrangements were not
disclosed.

“We chose to work with Chumbo.com based on the ability of its e-commerce
technology and its Internet expertise. This agreement offers our 3DNow! ISV
partners with a direct sales channel for optimized software to owners of PCs
using AMD processors with 3DNow! technology,” said Dana Krelle, vice president
of marketing at
AMD.

Building on the success of its online retail site, Chumbo.com said it
is actively pursuing its business-to-business OEM strategy. AMD joins Chumbo’s
other top OEM partners, including IBM, 3Dfx, nVIDIA and Apple.
