Electronic payment company CyberCash Inc. signed partnership deals
with Nortel Networks, SAP America Inc. and Sprint.
Nortel Networks (NT) selected CyberCash
for use in its Commerce Manager, a suite of products for Web-hosting
companies that serve Internet merchants.
Sprint Corp. (FON) selected CyberCash (CYCH) for transaction
processing in its Sprint eCommerce Storefront application.
SAP certified CyberCash as a member of its
Complementary Software Program. The interface certification process assures
the accurate exchange of data between CyberCash’s WebAuthorize app and the
SAP business applications backbone.
SAP now offers its customers the ability
to choose WebAuthorize to process credit card transactions and settle
payments.
“These latest companies join a growing group of alliances including IBM and
Microsoft ” said Nancy Goldberg, executive vice president of North American
sales.
IBM (IBM) is working with CyberCash as a payment processing option for WebSphere
Commerce Suite and WebSphere Payment Manager, IBM’s family of e-commerce
solutions, that enables Web storefronts, Internet service providers,
application service providers and others to host Internet payments for
multiple merchants.
Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) has integrated CyberCash into Microsoft Site Server 3.0, Commerce
Edition, designed for medium and large e-commerce businesses.
