b2bScene.com, a division of Open Text Corp., said it has partnered
with Wilbanks Technologies and will launch
an e-marketplace for the engineering industry allowing for collaboration
between engineers, architects, contractors and suppliers.

The b2bScene marketplace will enable members to share ideas, documents and
drawings over the Web in a secure collaborative environment.

“For the first time, engineers have access to a secure environment that
offers advanced engineering applications and end-to-end collaboration on
projects from design through construction and into the maintenance phase,”
said Kirk Roberts, president of b2bScene.com.

Wilbanks is a systems integration and consulting firm and a member of the
Open Text Affinity program. It will provide engineering applications,
specialized content and domain expertise for its engineering trading
communities. Open Text and Wilbanks share a number of customers across many
industries including Parsons Co., Lucent
Technologies and Shell Services.

Wilbanks has created Team Vu, an integrated suite of engineering
applications, including PDM and CAD/CAM functionality, which are combined
with b2bScene.com’s specialized industry content and collaboration services.
