earthnoise.com Makes Exclusive Deal with RealPlayer

May 24, 2000

earthnoise.com Tuesday announced an agreement in which it becomes a third-party application through RealNetworks, the content creation feature of the RealPlayer .

The application will enable the online authoring and
broadcasting of audio/video materials, available through the RealCreator, the content creation feature of the RealPlayer.

Under the agreement, earthnoise.com, a service that allows consumers and businesses to post their
videos on the Web, will be a
listing on RealPlayer’s RealCreator feature. Beginning Wednesday, earthnoise.com will be the only such third-party listing in RealCreator.

Access to earthnoise.com via
RealCreator is the initial step in a marketing and technology relationship
between the two companies.

“Our
relationship with earthnoise.com enhances ongoing efforts to bring
added convenience and video producing features to our users,” said Jeff
Pancottine, senior vice president, media systems, RealNetworks. “Consumers
can now more easily explore the exciting new area of ‘personal’ Web content
publishing.”
