Frictionless Commerce Inc. rolled out
the PurchaseSource software suite this week.

The company said the software has the ability to offer intelligent decision
support for purchasers across both dynamic and static priced commerce
environments simultaneously.

The result is higher transaction volumes,
increased buyer/seller satisfaction and improved ROI on initial technology
investments, the company claims.

“Our technologies represent the answer to a real problem in online purchasing
— efficiently and effectively determining what to buy by evaluating
offerings from multiple manufacturers and vendors,” said Robert Guttman, chief technology officer
and founder of Frictionless Commerce.

“Our PurchaseSource products are
designed to enable buyers to easily locate the exact products and services
that best fit their needs. When integrated with an online catalog, exchange
or auction, buyers can fully capture and understand the various offerings on
the market and then make intelligent purchase decisions.”

Separately, Frictionless announced a joint marketing agreement with Open Ratings, a relatively new unbiased
e-commerce ratings service, that will combine the new PurchaseSource software
suite and Open Ratings’ independent e-commerce ratings to help buyers make
more informed and cost effective purchasing decisions.

Financial arrangements
were not disclosed.

Open Ratings offers a rating service that is designed to increase the level
of trust, reliability and brand recognition in e-Marketplaces, with an
initial focus on the
business-to-business market sector.
