Globemark Enterprises Inc., a corporate barter company specializing in the exchange of excess merchandise and service capacity for advertising media, said it signed to use the services of International Commerce Exchange Systems Inc. (ICES).

ICES said it will provide Globemark with a complete direct marketing solution
based on its combination of Web and fax technology and the availability of an
expanding marketplace of pre-screened buyers. Financial arrangements were not
disclosed.

Globemark Enterprises Inc. barters media for a wide range of products
including jewelry and watches, health and beauty aids, dinnerware, fragrances, alcohol, leather goods, sunglasses and eyewear, hotel accommodations, airline seats, and restaurant credit.

Established in 1996, ICES is a targeted marketing company that uses technology–including the Internet, fax and e-mail–to link its members worldwide to buy and sell merchandise, and establish business relationships with partners anywhere in the world.

Through ICES’ network, availability of merchandise from a member company is
immediately forwarded electronically to potential buyers who have been
screened and profiled based on their industry categories. The company now has
affiliate offices in 14 nations.
