GO Network Centralizes Audio and Video

Infoseek Monday announced that the GO Network Broadcast Center is now a one-stop location for streaming media
from GO Network sites, including ABC Radio sites, movie trailers, and
downloadable music in both the MP3 and Liquid Audio file formats.

“We know that a lot of Web users are looking for these features and we wanted to locate them in
one place, as conveniently as possible,” said Bill Rose, vice president of Content for Infoseek. “The Broadcast Center on GO Network
gives users the tools to find what they’re looking for in one-stop.”

New features of the Broadcast Center include:

  • A search tool that enables users to find ABC Radio stations by format or
    geographical location.

  • A downloadable music section that provides a broad search guide to the
latest in digital music. Users can search a directory of big name artists
listed by genre, whose music is currently available for download on the
    Internet.

  • A beginner’s guide on the basics of MP3, which enables users to learn about
MP3 and obtain tools such as MP3 players and rippers.

  • An expanded music video collection in partnership with
    EntertainmentBlvd.com.

  • A collection of audio and video clips currently running each day on
    ABCNews.com and ESPN.com.
