Private-label Internet commerce solutions provider Iconomy.com signed deals with pay-to-surf
site AllCommunity.com and free online
sweepstakes site LuckySurf.com.
The agreement with AllCommunity.com involves the opening of an on-site store
to provide an opportunity for members to shop for a variety of products and
earn cash rewards. The new store offers books, videos, music, computers,
software and home appliances, as well as flowers, fragrances, jewelry and
toys. The store will be integrated with the AllCommunity rewards program,
which pays its members a percentage of every sale for purchases made.
For LuckySurf.com, which offers visitors a daily chance at cash and prizes,
including $1 million, Iconomy will launch a complete shopping environment
with more than 20 product categories and a promotional program.
Financial arrangements for the deals were not disclosed.
Iconomy is providing AllCommunity with a fully-embedded solution that
utilizes integrated custom design, targeted merchandising and embedded
e-commerce. Iconomy is also embedding banners and product promotions within
relevant content on the AllCommunity Web site for a “commerce in context”
approach.
Iconomy said it developed the LuckySurf.com store using its modular,
customizable Geneva technology, with objects from Iconomy’s library of
pre-built e-commerce components. Iconomy is handling every aspect of vendor
management, content development, merchandise planning, shopping cart
functionality, fulfillment and customer service.
