Houston-based online shopping mall company Intermallamerica.com, which has
more than 130 merchants, signed a strategic partnership agreement with
Delaware-based CCNow, a provider of e-commerce solutions for
small businesses.
As a result of the agreement, more than 800 small to mid-sized businesses
currently using CCNow’s online retailing services will have the opportunity
to establish storefronts in Intermallamerica.com’s online shopping malls,
including The Great Intermall of the Americas and its related online shopping
sites, the companies said. Financial arrangements were not disclosed.
“This agreement with CCNow represents a significant extension of our
company’s turnkey e-commerce solution for small to mid-sized businesses
wishing to establish an Internet presence,” said Cheryl D. Austin, president
of Intermallamerica.com. “A fully secure and encrypted transaction-enabled
Web site in The Great Intermall of the Americas is now within the financial
means of all merchants.”
“Intermallamerica.com can provide a significant increase in visitor traffic to CCNow’s clients that
will increase their chances of developing a successful Internet presence,” said John Lynch, CCNow’s vice president of sales.
Intermallamerica.com said it projects that it will reach 1 million monthly
visitors by the end of the year and 1.5 million monthly visitors within 18
months. It has an advertising agreement with Yahoo! which provides that
Intermallamerica.com’s advertisements and promotions will be featured on
Yahoo!’s front page for five days each month.
