M&A West Inc., a San Francisco-based financial public relations and investment banking firm, established an online financial bookstore on its Web site.
The store is an affiliate member of Barnes & Noble’s Web site BarnesandNoble.com, and features a
selection of finance and investment-related books.
Scott Kelly, President of M&A West, stated, “The featured books were selected
by myself and two other principals in the firm, combining over thirty-five
years of investment and business experience. These selections are an enormous
resource of information for the new and experienced investor.”
In addition to the bookstore, the site offers discussion forums on publicly
traded companies, focusing on small/micro cap and Bulletin Board stocks, a
stock quotes page in association with Yahoo!, a list of recommended stock
brokers and client company profiles.
“We looked at a few other co-branding opportunities, including Amazon.com, but
we liked the history of quality book selling Barnes & Noble provides,” said
Kelly.
