N2K’s online store Music Boulevard formed a partnership
to become the exclusive online music retailer for USATODAY.com.

Under the terms of the agreement, N2K’s Music Boulevard will create a co-branded
version of its online music store that will be incorporated into a new music
section within USATODAY.com. In addition, Music Boulevard
will become a “Premier
Vendor” in the “Marketplace” area of USATODAY.com. Financial arrangements were
not disclosed.

“Users are becoming increasingly comfortable with online shopping,” said
Lorraine Cichowski, vice president and general manager of USATODAY.com.
“USATODAY.com wants to offer them the resources to shop for what they want,
when they want, wherever they want on our site.”

“This partnership with USATODAY.com, one of the nation’s leading news
organizations, enables N2K’s Music Boulevard to combine the strength of
traditional media and the Internet,” said Jon Diamond, chairman and CEO of N2K
Inc. in New York City.
