B2B e-marketplace solutions provider Commerce One Inc.
delivered MarketWise, a new suite of packaged consulting services that will
assist e-marketplace operators to optimize performance from initial business
strategy through deployment and
expansion.

Offered through Commerce One Global Services, MarketWise is composed of five
distinct phases: Assess, Design, Build, Deploy and Perform.

Each phase is supported by the Commerce One Knowledge Web, to which customers
may subscribe and review examples of successful e-marketplace implementations
and case histories.

In the Assess phase, Commerce One helps operators define their e-marketplace
vision and develop a business and technology strategy.

The design and build phases lay the foundation for a successful e-marketplace
through planning, configuring and testing the e-marketplace components.

For Deployment, Pleasanton, Calif.-based Commerce One said it helps to engage
buyers, connect suppliers and launch e-marketplace solutions. Once up and
running, the Perform phase helps operators assess and define new areas of
functionality, improve existing business processes and implement changes.
Pricing points were not disclosed.
