E-business consulting firm NexGen SI Inc. changed its name to Nexgenix and delivered its new 360 degree
e-Relationship solution offering.
The new name reflects the company’s mission to deliver next generation
e-business solutions that move companies beyond transactive Web sites by
creating lasting e-relationships, Nexgenix said.
The concept of 360 degree e-Relationships refers to providing complete, end-to-end
e-solutions for companies that wish to create long term, personalized and
sustainable relationships with their customers, partners and suppliers.
“Our new name, Nexgenix, suggests a forward-looking approach to e-business,”
said Nexgenix chairman and co-CEO Rick Dutta. “We represent a new kind of
company that reflects the next generation of end-to-end e-business solution
providers.”
Nexgenix’ 360 degree e-Relationship combines Web strategy, interactive marketing
and branding, creative design and development, transaction capabilities and
enterprise integration with relationship-enabling solutions.
Clients include
Discount Auto Parts, Ecolab, AIG, Perks.com, Sage, ShopNow.com and
SimplyFamily.
Nexgenix 360 degree e-Relationship solutions consist of several customer-centric
components:
- e2Business — end-to-end e-business solutions, including strategy, Web site
development, interactive marketing and branding, transaction capability and
enterprise integration. - e.Knowledge — capturing disparate customer information into a central
information repository, then using that information for analytic profiling
and predictive modeling. - e.Reward — developing loyalty programs that may include purchasing
incentives, personalized marketing campaigns, acceptance profiling, real time
purchasing recommendations and cross selling opportunities. - e.Assist — providing services that make the user experience worthwhile and
enjoyable: easy and intuitive navigation, online customer service, the
ability to check on order status in real time.
Separately, the company launched its Internet Retail Practice and acquired
VstoreNews, a periodical covering the online retailing industry.
The new Internet Retail Practice will focus on developing e-business
solutions specifically for retail companies. VStoreNews and its companion Web
site, VStoreNews.com, will be relaunched with
new graphics, enhanced design and functionality.
Financial terms of the
acquisition were not disclosed.
