RealNetworks Signs Content Providers for RealOne

Gearing up for the November launch of its RealOne service, RealNetworks Inc. Tuesday signed agreements with 20
media and content companies to provide programming for subscribers.

Built on RealNetwork’s GoldPass subscription service, RealOne integrates the functions of RealPlayer and
RealJukebox with a media browser and content discovery window.

At launch, subscribers will have access to news, sports, and entertainment programming. RealNetworks said the cornerstone of the
service’s content will be provided by ABCNEWS.com, allFOOD, Animal Channel, CBS SURVIVOR INSIDER, CNET Networks, CNN, E!
Entertainment Television, FOX Sports.com, MediaBay, MLB Advanced Media, NBA, ON24, RadioAMP, The Wall Street Journal Online and The
Weather Channel.

RealOne Music, a premium music subscription offering that will also be available with the launch of RealOne, will utilize MusicNet,
allowing consumers to stream and download music from the catalogs of Warner Music Group, BMG Entertainment, EMI Recorded Music and
Zomba. RealNetworks said RealOne Music’s integration with the RealOne Player will make it easy for subscribers to combine music from
MusicNet into their existing collections and compile personalized playlists of downloaded or streaming tracks.

“RealOne is poised to provide consumers with unprecedented media experience through its one-stop destination where they can
discover, consume and enjoy the latest and greatest in digital media,” said Larry Jacobson, president and chief operating officer of
RealNetworks. “We’re thrilled to partner with these leading content companies who share our vision and are blazing the Internet
trail by putting their valuable media assets into an online subscription service.”
