RioPort has released Audio Manager, a new software application to find,
organize, download and playback digital audio files in either MP3 or
Microsoft’s Windows Media Audio formats.

The software is designed to work with with
RioPort-compatible systems, including Diamond’s Rio PMP300 and 500 Internet
music players.

Consumers can download a free (limited to 50 tracks of encoding) version of
the RioPort Audio Manager from the RioPort.com site or
purchase the full, unlimited encoding version for $4.95 (price for registered
Rio 300 PMP owners) or $9.95 (price for all others). The software will also
be bundled with Diamond Multimedia’s Rio 500 player, expected to be available
in mid September at major retail chains, from Diamond’s e-commerce site or the RioPort site.
