E-commerce outsourcing and direct marketing company ShopNow.com Inc. signed a
multi-year, strategic marketing agreement with sixdegrees, a developer of Web-based
products that help people build virtual communities.

The agreement will enable ShopNow.com to provide e-commerce technology and
online shopping offers to the 2.6 million members of the sixdegrees service.
Financial arrangements were not disclosed.

ShopNow.com will promote its merchants’ products on the sixdegrees Web site
and in turn, provide sixdegrees users with access to ShopNow.com’s merchant
and customer base. Additionally, ShopNow.com will offer sixdegrees
users membership in the MyShopNow.comprogram, a
collection of personalized, pre-stocked storefronts that offers incentives in
the form of a cash back rebate on purchases.

“Our products, services and online shopping network will complement the
goals and vision of the sixdegrees Web site,” said Anne-Marie Savage,
executive vice president, e-commerce services of ShopNow.com.
