SRA International will design, develop and implement a new information system to allow the U.S. Copyright Office to improve its public services and deliver more services electronically. The contract has an estimated $8.9 million over 52 months if all options are exercised.
The Copyright Office is re-engineering all major business processes to replace paper-based systems with electronic processing. The new information system designed by SRA will support these processes and replace all existing Copyright Office systems. SRA services will include system and data architecture; selection and customization of commercial off-the-shelf products for a customer relationship management system; systems integration; and training.
The SRA team includes Datatrac Information Services, Endeavor Information Systems, Pinkerton Computer Consultants, Siebel Systems and Unisys Corp.
The U.S. Copyright Office, a part of the Library of Congress, creates and maintains the public record of copyright registrations and recorded documents. It also provides technical assistance and policy advice on copyright issues to Congress and executive branch agencies, offers information to the public, and obtains works for Library of Congress collections.
