Staples.com enhanced its affiliate program
with a new, all-cash commission structure to encourage other Web site owners
to become active participants in the program.

Affiliates can now earn from four to 10 percent commissions based on
quarterly revenue generated to Staples.com from their host sites. The new
commission structure matches cash incentives to the percentage of new and
existing customers that affiliates direct to the Staples.com site. The
sliding scale of commissions is based on quarterly revenue generated.

“Since launching our business-to-business affiliate program last May, we’ve
recognized the incremental value it can have as a key component of our
integrated marketing program,” said Kelly Mahoney, chief marketing officer
for Staples.com.

“To fully reap the benefits, we need to provide attractive
incentives to increase ongoing participation.”

The Staples.com affiliate program is enabled by Be Free. The Staples.com program
provides detailed traffic and sales reporting, enabling affiliates to monitor
the number and the dollar amount of Staples.com sales generated.
