business-to-business e-commerce “Meeting Marketplace.”
“StarCite.com is an Internet-based marketplace for buying and selling
products that will change the way meetings are both booked and managed,” said

executives and other suppliers across the country, and will provide
breakthrough features such as online auctions and planning tools that are
unique to our industry,” he said.
StarCite.com said it allows those in the $100 billion meeting planning
industry to search from more than 50,000 suppliers, submit and receive
responses to Requests for proposals, plan meeting or event requirements, consolidate data, and purchase products
and services online.
Formed in January 1999, StarCite is a partner company of Internet Capital GroupInternet
Capital Group, an Internet holding company specializing in
business-to-business e-commerce.
