State Farm, one of the largest insurance companies in the nation, is now
offering term life insurance in 47 states at InsWeb, an Internet insurance marketplace.

State Farm, which already offers auto,
homeowners and renters insurance at InsWeb, is offering its 10-year term life
product.

InsWeb enables consumers to comparison shop and select term life products in
all 50 states from seven insurance companies, including Amica, CNA, Zurich
Kemper, John Hancock, Lincoln Benefit Life, and Western Southern Life.

“For InsWeb users, State Farm’s term life product provides more quality choices to
consumers, and choice is why they come to an online marketplace like InsWeb,” said Kevin Keegan, president of InsWeb’s Insurance Services Group.

At InsWeb, consumers fill out a single form to receive multiple quotes from
various insurance companies. Consumers can learn almost immediately which of the
participating carriers are interested in offering them products that fit their
needs.
