Stumpworld Systems Inc., which markets
its Online Merchant software that enables small businesses to set-up shop
online, signed a partnership deal with E-Commerce Exchange.

The latter is a nationwide credit card processing company that provides
transaction solutions for Internet entrepreneurs.

The partnership integrates Online Merchant with QuickCommerce, E-Commerce
Exchange’s transaction processing gateway and will create the Online Merchant
QuickCommerce Edition. Financial arrangements were not disclosed.

Designed to meet the needs of the small business owner, Online Merchant
Version 1.0 comes with an intuitive forms interface that allows development
of online stores without any knowledge of HTML.

Through this partnership, customers now have the ability to accept Visa,
MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, ATM and electronic
checks.

“Partnering with a well-known online catalog developer such as Online
Merchant is a huge part of our marketing strategy,” said Thomas Mathews,
vice-president of sales at Orange County, CA-based E-Commerce Exchange. “The
Online Merchant QuickCommerce Edition is setting the industry standard by
enabling small and medium sized merchants to seamlessly build an online
storefront that accepts real-time payment within five minutes of the
buildout.”

Stumpworld Systems also operates an online mall, BuyItOnline.
