Real-time e-business infrastructure company TIBCO Software Inc.delivered
TIB/Rendezvous TX, an advanced e-business software for complex, scaleable,
e-business transactions.

The company called the product “a robust backbone that enables rapid
development and deployment of real-time, reliable e-business systems that can
manage customizable business-to-business transactions.”

Rendezvous TX communicates in real-time among disparate business
applications, both new and legacy, and on multiple platforms, including the
latest Web-based software, the company said.

“By using Rendezvous TX in conjunction with TIBCO’s standard e-business
products,
companies are just a few clicks away from building and deploying e-business
solutions — from a modest-sized portal with few transactions to a large
marketplace with thousands of trading partners and transactions,” said Fred
Meyer, chief marketing officer for TIBCO.

Rendezvous is part of the TIBCO ActiveEnterprise product family,
interoperating
directly with TIBCO ActiveExchange and TIBCO ActivePortal, and third party
systems via off-the-shelf adapters. Price points were not disclosed.

Rendezvous TX offers platform support for AIX 4.3, DEC Tru64 UNIX 4.x,
HP-UX 11.x, Linux 2.2, Solaris 2.6, Windows NT 4 and Windows 2000.
