Ticketmaster Online-CitySearch launched a new online information and
ticketing service for Denver CitySearch.

The Denver CitySearch local portal site integrates information about current
and upcoming events, including seating options and sight lines, with the
ability to purchase
tickets to the events online.

“CitySearch has evolved to become more than just a source of information, with
integrated transaction services such as Ticketmaster Online, person-to-person
auctions via CityAuction, and merchandise available from First Auction,” said
Charles Conn, chief executive officer of Ticketmaster OnlineCitySearch.

The site features a new design that combines the strengths of CitySearch’s
locally developed information with Ticketmaster Online.

To use the service, the user clicks on a date on the event calendar in the
upper right corner of the CitySearch home page. A roster of events occurring
that day appears,
allowing the user to click on an event for more detailed description, such as
the venue location and directions. By clicking on the ticket icon, the viewer
can purchase tickets to the event online.

In the next several months, CitySearch said it intends to work with local
merchants to offer a broader range of services for Denver residents who want
to plan and purchase online. Local e-commerce capabilities will include such
services as the ability to order
flowers from a local florist or make restaurant reservations online.

CitySearch local portal sites are online communities that integrate original
content on where to go and what to do, as well as business and community
service information,
Ticketmaster Online ticketing services, and local merchant advertising/e-
commerce capabilities.
