USA Networks Interactive to Launch Online Jewelry Site

Feb 26, 1999

USA Networks Interactive said its Internet Shopping Network
division will launch an online jewelry store in the second quarter of this
year.

The site, offering fine jewelry, watches, costume jewelry and fashion
accessories for men and women, will also be branded throughout all of USAi’s
cable, broadcast and Internet networks.

The site will include jewelry products sourced from a number of the
manufacturers that have retailing relationships with The Home Shopping
Network, another
USAi company.

The site will also feature detailed information on gemology, appraisals, and
certifications, the company said.

“This is the first of several steps designed to significantly expand USA’s
online retailing business,” said Alan Citron, president of USA Networks
Interactive.

Internet Shopping Network has engaged the services of Organic and Oven Digital to assist with the site’s
development.

The Internet Shopping Network currently operates First Auction, a
diversified general merchandise auction retailer.
