The open-source OpenStack Foundation grew its’ revenue based by 52 percent in 2014 over 2013. OpenStack Foundation 2014 revenue came in at $17.5 million.
That revenue helps to fund OpenStack’s ongoing activities and operations which have a 
few big milestones set for 2015. There are two major design summits, one in Vancouver and one in Tokyo and two major released the Kilo release and the ‘L’ release.
The L release has also had a milestone of sorts this week – and now has an official name : Liberty.
So here were go, Let Liberty Ring (or Reign) in the cloud in 2015.
