Oracle is aiming to make it easier for enterprises to better sift through the reams of information they generate from critical business systems with the launch of two new data integration products.

Both the new Oracle GoldenGate 11g and Data Integrator Enterprise Edition 11g had their origins in companies acquired by Oracle over the past several years. Oracle on Thursday took the wraps off two new releases in its Data Integration product line, the fruit of its 2006 acquisition of ELT (extract, load, transform) technology specialist Sunopsis, and its 2009 acquisition of GoldenGate Software, a player in data integration.

The new products, Oracle (NASDAQ: ORCL) GoldenGate 11g and Oracle Data Integrator Enterprise Edition 11g, are part of the Oracle Fusion Middleware product family and form the backbone of the Oracle Data Integration (ODI) product line.
