ShareFile was born as a cloud-based service for exchanging files, and then padded out its desktop product with a file synchronization feature.

Now, the firm is going a step farther, adding the file syncing service to its two higher-end products, what it bills as an enterprise-scale solution.

ShareFile claims that its transfer service can easily move large files ranging up to 10 GB, while providing a 128-bit SSL encryption to ensure safe passage for those documents.

ShareFile currently boasts more than 2 million customers in 120 countries, with clients spanning numerous sectors, ranging from architects to CPAs, ad agencies, engineers and contractors.

Small Business Computing has the story on ShareFile’s latest synchronization service.
