Up Next for SharePoint: Language Translation

As Microsoft’s SharePoint collaboration business continues to grow globally, documents and other content on the system won’t all necessarily be in English or used by English speaking users.

SharePoint Briefing has the skinny on a new set of language translation services from LingoTek currently in beta, that offer a range of options to those SharePoint shops that need language translation.


Microsoft

s SharePoint collaboration and document management server has become a business phenomenon worth more than a billion dollars in sales, so increasingly companies have sprouted up to fill gaps with other products to provide services not found in the server.


The latest is the Lingotek Inside solution for Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) SharePoint , delivered under the aegis of what the translation company calls its Collaborative Translation Platform (CTP).
