apps4biz Taps Tech Talent

apps4biz.com, an Andover, Mass., provider of Internet-centric business applications to small manufacturing and service
organizations, has named Arthur McCray vice president of engineering.

In this role, McCray will oversee research and development as well as product enhancement functions.

“Art has more than 25 years of experience developing applications and Web-based software,” said Mory Bahar, president and CEO of apps4biz.com. “He
has worked for both large, established corporations and smaller software start-ups, including his own.”

Previously, McCray served as vice president of technology for Raging Bull/Alta Vista. Before that, he was vice president of engineering for SofTech. He has also
worked at Augment Systems, NovaSoft Systems, Digital Equipment Corp. and Computervision.

McCray holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from MIT.
