Asera Names New Worldly VP

Mar 29, 2001

Asera, an e-Business operating system provider, Thursday confirmed that John Keast is joining the company as executive vice president of operations and customer service.

Keast will head Asera’s worldwide operations and customer service departments. Asera has offices in the UK and Germany.

Before coming to Asera, Keast served as CIO at San Francisco-based energy supplier PG&E.

“John is a proven executive, with an impressive history of developing and implementing strategies to expand and support business globally,” says Asera CEO Warren Weiss. “He understands from his experience the challenges that CTOs and CIOs face, and his ability to develop and maintain customer, employee and partner relationships will be a valuable asset as Asera looks to build on its success worldwide.”

The Belmont-based company’s e-Business operating system has a patent-pending software platform and applications development environment that lets companies customize their software applications.
