Derivion Strikes Deal With Zurich North America

Atlanta’s Derivion, a provider of e-billing solutions for business-to-commerce, business-to-business and small business applications, and insurance company Zurich North America are launching an Internet bill presentment and payment services for direct bill policyholders through Zurich eZ Pay.

The Schaumburg, Ill.-based Zurich North America will allow policyholders to view and pay their insurance premiums electronically via Zurich’s web site at http://www.zurichna.com using inetBiller, Derivion’s core e-billing solution.

“Derivion has tremendous growth opportunity with their unique solution in the e-billing marketplace,” said Bill Griglock, senior vice president of marketing for Zurich North America Small Business. “Now Derivion’s comprehensive approach to e-billing will offer a valuable service to our own customers, differentiating our company as a superior e-service provider.”

Zurich North America will be able to control all aspects of the e-billing application including their customers’ e-billing experience by utilizing Derivion’s inetBiller Console, a back-end administrative tool that allows billers to manage their e-billing process. Zurich North America customer service representatives will gain immediate access to customer bills that are visually the same, facilitating a swift response to customer inquiries and concerns, and eliminating the number of inquiries to call centers.

“Zurich North America is a recognized leader in customer care, and Derivion’s e-billing technology is part of the companies’ broader strategy to integrate e-commerce initiatives,” said Greg Rable, chief executive officer of Derivion. “Derivion offers a powerful solution that is transforming their invoicing output into digital bills without disrupting their existing billing processes or networks.”

Derivion’s customers include Microcell (FIDO), Farmers Insurance, Baltimore Gas & Electric, and Arch Communications, totaling more than 275 million annual bills under contract.
