Digex Named Overall Leader in SLA Performance

Dec 5, 2001

Tier 1 Research has named commercial hosting provider Digex, Inc. the overall leader in service level agreement (SLA) performance in a recent report entitled “How Good is Good Enough?”

Tier 1 is a research and consulting firm combining financial and strategic analysis of public and private companies in the Internet infrastructure software and services industry. Tier 1 Research works with institutional investors, venture capital firms and companies as an outsourced competitive analysis team with a broad range of services.

“As a pioneer and leader in fully managed hosting, it is no surprise that Digex has earned the top score for overall SLA performance,” said Andrew Schroepfer, president of Tier 1 Research. “The scores from our survey attest that Digex offers one of the best uptime guarantees in the industry, has great connectivity as an affiliate of WorldCom, scores high in customer service with the addition of ClientCentral, which independently ranks among the industry’s best according to an earlier Tier 1 Research study, and has the leading security SLA.”
