Ecora Adds R&D Pro

Ecora, a Portsmouth, N.H., maker of IT infrastructure auditing and security management software, has named Paul
Silverman, formerly of Inforonics, as vice president of research and development.

Silverman has nearly 30 years development and management experience. At Littleton, Mass.-based Inforonics, he was director of software development, makers
of Internet and Intranet Web sites.

Previously, he was director of engineering at SilverPlatter Information, of Norwood, Mass., and also spent nine years in engineering and program management
positions at ViewLogic Systems, in Marlborough, Mass.

“As Configuration Auditor (the company’s flagship product) grows into the change management program of choice for all of the major enterprise products, we look
to leaders like Paul to understand customer expectations and exceed them,” said Alex Bakman, Ecora’s president and founder.

Ecora is privately held. Its products support all major enterprise products from Cisco Systems, Lotus, Microsoft, Novell, Oracle, and Solaris.
