Exodus Alum Now Critical Path EVP

Laurie Priddy knows a few things about managing a network. A former EVP of operations at Exodus Communications , Priddy has now found her way to Critical Path .

The company Tuesday named Priddy as its new executive vice president and to be in charge of operations of Critical Path’s hosted e-mail and messaging services.

Priddy also helped found TrueChat, an Internet voice conferencing company, where she served as chairman prior to its acquisition by Terayon Communications.

“Recruiting a world-class operations executive to Critical Path was an important step as we drive growth and additional services in our hosted messaging business in 2002,” says Critical Path CEO Bill McGlashan, Jr. “Laurie has proven her ability to deliver results and has successfully managed some of the largest communications operations in the world. Hosted messaging is a tremendous growth opportunity for Critical Path, and Laurie’s experience in managing rapid growth will help enable our hosted services to reach new levels in performance and revenue generation.”

The San Francisco-based wireless messaging and e-mail provider licenses and outsources its Internet communications software to small and mid-sized businesses and service providers. Its corporate customers include British Telecom, Worldcom, Dupont, Circuit City and Gymboree.
