Exodus Communications Tuesday
unveiled an Internet service provider program designed to help ISPs curtail Internet
infrastructure costs of bandwidth management.

“If service providers cannot scale to handle the exponential growth of
web site traffic, they will not be able to grow their business.”
According to Ellen M. Hancock, Exodus president and chief executive officer.

The product is being showcased this week at ISPCON Spring 99

Exodus contents their ISP program will enable providers to
achieve scale that would be difficult to establish on their own.
Hancock said, “By taking advantage of the Exodus infrastructure, they
[ISPs] can quickly accommodate rapid growth and scale to handle heavy
traffic.”

Exodus is an Internet and system network management enterprise that
maintains eight data centers nationwide to provide co-location and
wholesale bandwidth for ISPs requiring scalable demand.
