M7 Networks today announced the appointment of Bill Erickson as the company’s new president and CEO.
M7 Networks is an infrastructure services startup that provides technology platforms and managed services to business application service providers and network operators.
Erickson will replace interim CEO Hans Davidsson, a managing partner at founding company ideaEDGE Ventures.
Prior to joining M7 Networks, Erickson spent seven years with IBM Global Services, where he most recently served as vice president of communications sector services. He also held several senior management positions with IBM, both in New York and Paris.
Prior to IBM, Erickson spent ten years in various legal, regulatory, and business capacities at MCI helping to build the world’s first major competitive long distance services provider.
Erickson received his B.A in political science and history from the University of Colorado, Denver. He later received his J.D. from New York University School of Law.
San Diego-based M7 Networks has raised $20 million in seed and first-round funding from Enterprise Partners, Investor AB, Qualcomm, and Sienna Holdings.
