With the dust settling on its recent buying spree (see Interland Finishes Holiday Shopping, Buys Hostcentric),
, an Atlanta-based managed hosting services provider, today announced what it describes as “an extensive overhaul of its channel program.” The new tools and services are designed to make it easier to become a profitable Web hosting reseller small- and medium-size businesses.
The new structure of the reseller program, according to Interland, sets out to help partners receive competitive discounts more quickly. Upon registering their second account, resellers can now take advantage of the benefits of Interland channel program.
Interland also announced the launch a referral program for its existing customers that allows them to earn up to $150 in credit for referring new qualified customers.
“Providing our partners deeper discounts along with better tools to market their services and manage their accounts is another step in the ongoing evolution of developing our channel program into a market leader,” said Tiffani Bova, vice president of channel sales and marketing at Interland.
Interland also reports that is has recently upgraded its online management resource, iPACT (Interland Partner Advantage Centralized Tools), which is designed to provide resellers with tools through an intuitive interface. For example, iPACT grants immediate access to personalized messages, details on timely promotions, links to marketing materials, an account and billing center, quick links to technical help and other reseller-specific information, according to Interland. The enhancements include unbranded marketing collateral for resellers, training documentation and real-time reporting on the revenue they earn by partnering with Interland.
More upgrades are on the horizon, according to Interland. Last year, the company introduced its Business Catalyst Partner Program, which grants cash bonuses of up to $12,500 per month based on a partner’s net increase in monthly recurring charges. It also unveiled its blueHALO (High Availability Load Optimizing) hosting platform — which features firewall protection and system redundancy (see Interland Ups the Ante on Shared Hosting.
Interland is listed by ASPnews as a Top 20 Service Provider.
