Oracle Corp. , today announced a content infrastructure partnership with content management solutions firm, Interwoven, Inc.
. The integrated solution consists of Oracle9i Application Server and TeamSite, and aims to provide customers with the ability to aggregate, manage and distribute content for Web sites.
“We have already begun the integration of these two platforms since early 2001 for our Integrated Web Site initiative. We welcome the commitment by both companies to accelerate the building of an integrated solution and look forward to completing a successful implementation,” says Lisa Harris, CIO at Gevity HR.
Oracle9iAS offers users features such as Web page caching, enterprise portal software, business intelligence features. It also provides tight integration with the Oracle database able to run J2EE applications, which in conjunction with its partners Oracle in combination with its partners gives customers a deployment and management platform to run their e-Business applications.
Thomas Kurian, vice president of Product Development for Oracle9iAS says the software giant is pleased to have the support of Interwoven: “The combination of Interwoven TeamSite and Oracle9iAS provides a complete solution for creating, managing and deploying high-performance, content-rich Web sites,” he says.
