Calling it a “a holistic approach to managing all aspects of Web content,” iUpload, a Burlington, Ontario-based ASP that offers a Net-native content management system (CMS), will announce on Monday that it is expanding its offering to include a suite of e-Business tools.
The announcement is the fruit of iUpload’s recent acquisition of WebPartz. Also based in Canada, WebPartz specialized in the component applications — such as e-mail, search and surveys — that will now become part of the iUpload suite. (See Canadian ASPs Announce Merger).
The new suite includes the following applications:
- A permission-based e-mail marketing module adds e-mail campaign management capabilities, which are designed to help users gather customer data, build e-mail campaigns, and deliver and track campaign progress.
- A site search and indexing module is designed to provide enterprise-level site indexing and search features and includes features such as multi-site searching, categories and “best bets” support.
- The online survey module is designed to provide the capability to build and deliver online surveys to help gather customer, partner or employee feedback. In addition to built-in analysis and reporting capabilities, users can also export results to Microsoft Excel for further analysis.
- An interactive chat module is designed to allow Web site visitor to interact and share ideas, questions and answers live with staff.
- The forums module provides the capability to add discussion and collaboration services designed to allow employees, customers, business partners and suppliers to communicate and share information in a secure, Web-based environment.
Organizations will have the option, iUpLoad reports, of expanding its e-business capabilities by activating any of the applications individually or in any combination. The iUpload Content Manager interface will become a dashboard through which users can access the various modules.
“Many organizations have reached a crossroads where they need to do more than just manage content — they are ready to use their Web sites to interactively market themselves and make more money,” says Robin Hopper, president and CEO of iUpload.
All modules in the iUpload Suite will be available on Monday on a subscription basis. Monthly fees are start at $85 per month, per module.
