ManagedOps, an ASP wholesaler that specializes in Microsoft Great Plains and Siebel Systems applications, today announced a certification program for its reseller-channel partners.

Managed Operations Certified partners, according to the Bedford, N.H.-based company, have proven their commitment to offering superior systems
operations and management services as well as their knowledge of Managed Operations fundamentals and best
practices.

The Managed Operations
service includes managing software components, infrastructure, security,
staffing and support needed to keep hosted applications running smoothly, according to ManagedOps.

According to ManagedOps CEO Dan Taylor, the Managed
Operations certification program is designed to complement its partners’ existing credentials and provide them with a competitive advantage. “The certification demonstrates that our
partners are fully trained and knowledgeable on systems operations and management,”
he said. “By making a significant investment in additional training,
certified partners are better positioned to be their customers’ trusted
advisor.”

The certification covers system availability, security, virus
protection, change management, system administration, monitoring and
preventative maintenance, and back-up and recovery.

“Partners are rewarded with a
tremendous increase in the lifetime value of every customer because of
the long-term, recurring nature of the Managed Operation service,” Taylor added,

ManagedOps announced that following companies have achieved the Managed Operations
certification: American Express Tax & Business Services
(Dublin, Ohio), Baden Technology Solutions (Fort Wayne, Ind.), Centerprise
Information Solutions (Akron, Ohio), Collins Computing (Orange County, Calif),
Enterprise Resource Group (Sacramento, Calif), ePlains (Wheaton, Ill.); FMT
