Three Massachusetts municipalities — Amherst, Cambridge and Worcester — have signed deals with Irvine, Calif.-based DynTek for e-government software and services.
The deals includes DynTek’s ePluribus product line, which delivers a fully functional Web site and the tools required to regularly update content such as job and
event postings and process applications and tax payments.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
“The primary objective of this project was to streamline the way we communicate with our constituency, and in turn, improve their overall satisfaction with our online
services,” said Mayor Michael Sullivan of Cambridge. “DynTek has helped the city of Cambridge enhance our overall digital image.”
Cambridge’s neighbor, the city of Somerville, is also a DynTek customer, as is the Boston Public Health Commission.
DynTek’s tools are designed so non-technical administrators can access and change the Web site’s content in real-time, taking pressure off busy IT workers. The
company has public sector customers in 17 states.
In addition to the Bay State, DynTek is looking to expand its reach into New Hampshire and Vermont. The company employs 400 people.
Shares of DYTK dipped 0.06, or 2 percent, to 2.02 in midday trading. In the last 52 weeks, the issue has ranged from 0.9 to 3.08.
