In recognition of its best reselling partners, Microsoft Great Plains Business Solutions, the wholly owned subsidiary of Microsoft Corp. and provider of business applications to small and mid-sized companies, recently awarded 36 reselling firms for outstanding achievement and success.
The awards were presented at the Global Partner Recognition Ceremony during Stampede 2001, Microsoft Great Plains’ 16th annual international partner conference held in Fargo, N.D. for its value-added resellers, consultants, systems integrators and solution developers.
In selecting partners for recognition, Microsoft Great Plains reviewed several key criteria including outstanding sales performance, exemplary technological expertise on Microsoft Great Plains solutions, consistently high customer-satisfaction ratings, feedback from peers and team members, and a sincere commitment to improving the lives and business success of Microsoft Great Plains’ and partners’ mutual customers.
Among the winners was ManagedOps Inc., provider of Managed Operations services, receiving special recognition for the second consecutive year.
Says Jim Traynor, director of ASP Business Development at Microsoft Great Plains: “ManagedOps was among the first service providers to receive Microsoft Gold Certification earlier this year, and their efforts contributed to what have become the standards by which Microsoft measures others.”
He also cites ManagedOps for “investing significantly to drive the industry forward” by providing a cost-analysis tool for customers, as well as educational seminars and marketing communications support.
