Netivation.com, Inc. announced today that its MedMarket.com division signed contracts with two ASPs for the distribution of Netivation.com’s Practix software, the world’s first Web-based physician’s office management system.
“Netivation is the first company to nationally deploy a Web-based,
physician’s management system,” Tony Paquin, president and chief executive officer, said. “The early deployment further positions
MedMarket.com as the B2B e-commerce leader.”
Paquin feels confident in Netivation.com’s (NTVN) ability to rapidly penetrate the $2.3 billion and growing practice management market with its ISP/ASP distribution model.
Practix will be distributed by the Utah based Integrated Vertical Technologies Group, LLC, and the Indiana based Midwest Kiosk & Consulting. Integrated Vertical Technologies Group plans immediately to begin offering subscriptions of Practix. Midwest Kiosk & Consulting is scheduled for a May launch.
“We’re excited about the growing opportunities in the ASP marketplace,” Morgan Leppink, software technologies director, IVT Group, said. “For long-term success, ASPs must provide expert solutions for specific industries.”
Developed for distribution via ISPs and ASPs, Practix is a Web-based, physician’s management system that provides front office, back-office and Internet-office solutions for medical professionals. Practix offers physicians the ability to run every aspect of the office by means of online access to all information, including patient records, calendar information, billing, scheduling, laboratory results, and purchasing of medical equipment and supplies.
In addition, Practix delivers medical groups necessary online features including claims processing, insurance verification, and referrals, while reducing back-office time and the associated expenses.
“The Practix software integrates with MedMarket.com’s business-to-professional
e-commerce site for the purchase of medical supplies, equipment and books.
This direct access is key to fulfilling Netivation’s strategy of driving sales
through customer retention,” Paquin said.
Benefits to the ISP/ASP Practix distributor include a full-featured turnkey solution, unlimited licensing capabilities, dedicated account management resources, and complete product training and education.
