NETSEC Appoints Former Ubizen GM as SVP of Operations

NETSEC, a Herndon, Va.-based provider of managed security services, has appointed Tom McHale as senior vice president of operations. He will be responsible for overseeing the division that delivers managed security services to NETSEC’s federal government and Fortune 1000 commercial client base.


McHale comes to NETSEC with more than 15 years of experience in security technology as a customer, consultant and vendor for several well-known companies. Prior to joining NETSEC, he served as general manager of USA operations at Ubizen, an international security company.


While at Ubizen, McHale helped produce two market-leading security products and grew the U.S. operations from a single location with 30 employees to three locations with 85 employees, as well as three product divisions and a security operating center.


McHale has held management positions as director of security strategy and CTO/director of technology strategy for large American and European software companies including Platinum Technology and ICL/Fujitsu. He also has international business experience in Europe and Asia with companies such as NEC and Alcatel.
