Nuclio Corporation announced today it is purchasing The Revere Group’s managed services provider (MSP) business, and assuming responsibility for all its MSP customers. In turn, The Revere Group is re-allocating its resources toward its core competency of technology and business consulting and process design. No further details of the deal were provided.
In Novemeber 2000, The Revere Group, based in Deerfield, IL, laid off about 20 employees, or 4% of its 450-member staff, nationwide. At that time a company spokesperson told chicago.internet.com that is was taking a do-fewer-things-better business strategy to allow the company to service its clients more efficiently.
“Nuclio offers the best services in the MSP arena, and providing their offering is the best way we can serve our customers,” said Todd Miller, president and chief operations officer of The Revere Group. “We are always optimizing the way we serve our customers, and deepening our relationship with Nuclio is a smart and natural way to do it.”
Nuclio offers an entire life-cycle of managed services, from design, transition and execution to around-the-clock management, monitoring and real-time, Web-based reporting.
“This is a natural next step in the very successful relationship we’ve had with The Revere Group since Nuclio’s beginning,” said John Jazwiec, president and CEO of Nuclio. “The customers involved are benefiting enormously from this move, as their e-business will be always ready through Nuclio’s management services, and they will continue to receive the best in consulting from The Revere Group.”
Planning for the transition of The Revere Group’s MSP accounts to Nuclio has already begun, and the actual transition is expected to last less than a month.
