Nationwide Internet service provider Rocky Mountain Internet Inc. (RMI) will
provide Internet access to the Rite Aid drug store chain, as part of an
agreement with e-commerce firm DynamicWeb Enterprises Inc..

Under terms of the agreement, RMI will be the preferred ISP for Rite Aid’s
supplier companies using DynamicWeb’s Web-based EDIxchangeBuy e-commerce
service. No financial terms were disclosed.

EDIxchangeBuy is designed to electronically exchange business documents
over the Internet. DynamicWeb estimated that extranet supply ordering has
saved its customers thousands of dollars as opposed to the high expense of
staffing a call center to service suppliers.

“EDIxchangeBuy is a powerful tool that leverages the universal access of
the World Wide Web for electronic commerce. . . ,” said Steve Oakie, vice
president marketing and sales for DynamicWeb. “With RMI, our customer Rite
Aid and its suppliers will have access to a state-of-the-art nationwide
network and top-notch customer service.”
