Verio Acquires Northern CA ISP

Verio Inc. announced today it acquired
Northern California-based Internet service provider NSNet.


The acquisition serves to help strengthen Verio’s presence in the Northern
California region, enabling it to extend its services to the area’s small-
to mid-sized businesses, the company said in a statement.


“With its infrastructure, focus on business customers and top-quality
products, NSNet has established itself as a premier provider in the region,
and we welcome them to Verio Northern California,” said Isabel Ehringer,
President of Verio Northern California.


“This acquisition means Verio Northern California can extend to the greater
Sacramento region the personalized service and complete Internet solutions
that we’ve brought to business customers in the Bay area.”


Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
