Verticalnet Adds Alphablox Analytics

Supply chain software provider Verticalnet has teamed up with analytics software developer Alphablox Corp. to integrate Alphablox’s InLine Analytics platform into future releases of its Spend Analysis and Supplier Scorecard applications.

Verticalnet’s supply management solutions allow analysis of spending and performance data for purchased materials and services. The Spend Analysis and Supplier Scorecard modules extract spend and performance data from customers’ ERP and purchasing systems and provide supply management processes. Alphablox’s web-based platform will enhance Verticalnet’s analytical modules, while enabling the solutions to be delivered to clients over the Internet.

The Spend Analysis and Supplier Scorecard applications can be delivered as either an ASP hosted service or a customer self-hosted application. Alphablox’s web-based analytic platform will deliver the user options desired for an analytical application, allowing Verticalnet to focus their development efforts on building additional supply management domain expertise into their solutions — resulting in increased value to their customers.
